The speaker will outline the history of Polish and American photography. He will try to answer the question of what photos are and what their usefulness is; what are the main types of photography, and when can a photo be called a work of art, or a small work of art, and when do we talk about a "snap." The lecture will acquaint the audience with significant photographers and their works. We will also see the works of the speaker, who has been involved in photography since his youth. Some of his photographs have been presented at exhibitions, including one solo exhibition.
