Dariusz Kanarek is president of the Polish-American Photographic Club and a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. For more than two decades, he has combined creative work with education, fostering artistic communities, and building international relationships through art. Born in Warsaw in 1973, he has lived and worked in the United States since 1990. He studied Multimedia Arts and Sound Directing at the University of New Haven and completed master’s studies in Film Editing and Digital Post-Production at New York University.

Since 2017, he has focused on his independent artistic practice, creating documentary projects devoted to people, cultural memory, and contemporary social change. His photographs have appeared in American media and in numerous exhibitions. He is also active as a curator and organizer, using photography to build community and encourage intercultural dialogue.
