Janusz Skowron is a drawing artist, painter, printmaker, promoter of Polish culture and art, and educator. He has lived in New York since 1989. He is a member of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists, the Emotionalists group (1999–2024), the Golden Line group, the Polish-American Photographic Club, and the Board of Directors of the Józef Piłsudski Institute in New York. His works have been shown in more than 400 solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His honors include the Ignacy Paderewski Art and Music Medal, the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, and the Outstanding Pole in the USA award.
